Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter

Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter £24.50

Gorgeous highlighter alert! Why oh why did it take me so long to buy Benefits Watt’s Up highlighter I do not know, it has always been a product I have lusted for but was a little scared of it being a cream stick highlighter. I usually prefer to use powder type highlighters but after finding the Topshop glow pot I have become a little more adventurous so whilst out shopping for some other Benefit bits the other day I thought I’d pick this little beauty up and I’m so glad I did, it is a cream-to-powder finish so not too scary after all.

First of all the stick applicator is actually really easy to use, you can simply swipe it straight on to the cheek bone or desired area and blend with fingers or soften the edges using the little blending sponge attached to the stick. I have tried a few ways of applying and blending now for different finishes and looks and I love to use a mini stippling brush for a light highlight or add it direct for a full on glow. Another technique I have stumbled across is to blend with your foundation brush after application if you feel you’ve applied too much or just want a subtler look, it blends a dream and looks very pretty.

The colour of this is simply stunning it’s a gorgeous champagne gold that is definitely my favourite kind of shade to use when highlighting, it translates onto the skin beautifully and looks stunning with a tan. Whether your a full face make-up girl or prefer a quick and simple look this will be perfect for you. I plan to wear this highlighter a lot and hopefully this summer when/if I get a natural tan I shall be rocking this with no foundation, it’s the instant pick me up you need and really gives your face a youthful healthy glow.

A fabulous highlighter that get’s a big thumbs up from me!
