Hi sweeties hope your all having a great week, this morning whilst doing my makeup I fancied going for quite a light summery look. I have been loving more of a bronzed look lately and a fake tanned last night so I’m looking super tanned for a change. I started by using my Crownbrush illuminating foundation all over my face, I use the shade FK101 which is the perfect shade for me and the foundation itself is a nice light to medium cover. I then popped some of the Crownbrush Illuminator onto my cheekbones, I used the shade FK165 which is the rose gold illuminator and I’m seriously obsessed with it it’s such a beautiful and powerful illuminator that really shouts Summer! I then just touched up any blemishes I had with TheBalm anti wrinkle concealer in the shade lighter than light, this concealer has been fab it adds a great amount of coverage without looking cakey and it’s also great for brightening up the under eye area and highlighting the brow bone.
Once the base was done it was time to perfect and sculpt, I haven’t fully contoured my face but I did use the new Bourjois Delice De Poudre Duo and the Golden Delice De Poudre. Let me tell you these powders merged together create the most beautiful glow and I have been using them all week! Final touch on the cheeks I used the Bourjois cream blush in Pink Sunwear which is a very pretty bronzed shade to go along with the theme of todays look.
Face done, I moved onto the eyes keeping it pretty simple I used a Nars multiple in the shade Puerto Vallarta I love this shade and how versatile it is it also looks beautiful with Mac Rubenesque. In the crease I used the shade ‘Whim’ from the Stila In the Moment Palette and I also used the shade ‘Spontaneous’ on the brow bone and tear duct area to add some extra light and dimension to the look. To line the eyes I used the Zoeva Cat Eye Pen which is another great find, Its very similar to the Loreal one I use but I believe it’s even cheaper which is fantastic. I find it much easier to apply my liner with a felt tip style nib it creates the easiest line in a matter of seconds and this eyeliner is super black. For mascara I used the Loreal Lash Architect False Lash Effect Mascara, I really like this mascara because the wand is super thin so it makes coating the lower lashes very easy for me. I didn’t stop there with the lashes, to add some extra volume I used the Magnifibres Brush On False Lashes which is a product I received in my Glamour Latest In Beauty box this week so I’m still trying to get the hang of it definitely makes my lashes longer but I need to use it a few more times before I can give my full opinion of it.
Lastly I filled my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Blonde, this brow product is amazing and I’ve fallen in love with it all over again. Precise, beautiful brows in seconds that last all day long! Once I completed my face and eyes I added one of my favourite lip glosses which is by Tanya Burr and it’s the shade Picnic in the park, I wanted to use this to add a little more of daytime chic to the look and I think it works a dream.
What have been your summer go to’s for that perfect bronzed look?
