Chicco Pocket Snack £29.99*
With Vinny being 19 months old I thought it was time I tried introducing him to sitting at the table like a big boy 1. because I wanted him to feel more like he was apart of the family at dinner time and 2. because I thought it would be nice for him to sit at the table and be able to draw and do crafty things. I decided to research booster seats and ways he could sit at the table without sitting in his high chair and I came across the Chicco Pocket Snack, this is a booster seat that is suitable for children from 6 months until approximately 3 years which is amazing.
I am now able to sit Vinny at the table to do all things arts and crafts and he can also enjoy a family meal and feel like he is finally apart of the table with us. The seat fits perfectly onto our dining room chairs and is easy to take on and off, there are three height settings which is also great we have ours on the lowest setting when Vinny is sat on our chairs but change it to the highest setting when placing the booster seat on the floor.
I love the fact that I can use this on the floor aswel as our dining room chairs and Vinny does too, since we got the booster seat he has been obsessed with sitting in it whilst eating his snacks and just general lounging. The tray is removable which is great, I have to admit it’s a bit difficult to put on because you have to lodge each side on and connect it I think I’d rather the tray slide on or not be as stiff to apply but other than that it’s great.
There are adjustable straps to strap baby in and keep him secure and the straps to attach the seat to the chair are also adjustable making it perfect to take away with you on family trips or even just moving it around the house. I’d say this is the perfect chair for transitioning baby from his highchair to dining room chair or even when you start to wean baby as long as he can sit up comfortably unaided then it’s a lovely comfortable seat to sit in with a lot of support that’s great for travel when you don’t want to lug a huge highchair with you that usually takes up lots of space or is super heavy.
Did you get your child a booster seat or are you planning on one? I’d love to know your thoughts.
