Eep, now it’s finally December I thought it would be nice to write a Christmas Decor post and share with you a few bits we have put up in our home. I was an eager beaver and put these up over the weekend but believe me I would have put them up even earlier if Mark had let me. I love Christmas so much and seeing Vinnys face once we decorated our tree was amazing he just oooh’d and ahh’d for ages but then soon noticed the ball balls and tinsel and couldn’t wait to have a play, a rather disruptive play might I add… must toddler proof tree!
This year I was desperate to put a wreath on our front door, I’ve never had a wreath before apart from when I was living at home and mum used to put one up so I felt very grown up putting this on our door. The wreath is from pinesandneedles.com
which is a family run business thats truly spreading Christmas joy to families across the UK including mine, the site offers a huge range of real, and artificial trees along with beautiful decorations too. I really love this wreath It’s hung up on the front door and looking gorgeous, we were able to hang the wreath by using a Wallbug Wreath Holder, this little baby has stuck firmly to my door and the wreath is hanging off it a treat!
I was recently sent a variety of Christmas decorations from the Christmas Boutique and I have to say I’m super impressed, our colour theme is mainly burnt oranges, golds and browns which is what we’ve had for the last two years so it’s been really nice to add some extra bits to our collection. I really love this golden orange berry christmas wreath, I had a hook in my living room with nothing on it so it’s gone straight there and looks beautiful. It’s definitely a piece I could use all Autumn and Winter I think it’s so gorgeous!
OK so the bunting doesn’t really go with my theme but I just had to have it, I was in Homebase the other day with Mark and Vinny and spotted this in the Christmas Decorations section and I fell in love. It’s currently in our kitchen window for everyone to see, I just need to buy some kitchen window lights now to complete the look. Whilst in Homebase I also picked up this gorgeous cream knitted stocking, this will be mine this year… I love it!

Finally I couldn’t write this post without featuring some pretty lights now could I, I really love how these lights make my existing flower arrangement look super pretty and festive. It’s a great tip to add some twinkly lights to any arrangement you have to give it that festive vibe.
Have you been getting lots of new bits this year for decorating your home? Whats your favourite piece?
