Ever since I tried the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette I have been eager to get my hands on some more products, I have to say that palette has to be my favourite out of my whole collection and believe me when I say it, I have quite the collection. I always use it when I’m going somewhere special or just need something I know will look gorgeous on me, plus it’s super easy to use with all of the beautiful buttery shades.. can you tell I’m obsessed. That being said I have been trying out some new products recently and thought I’d let you know how I got on.
Too Faced // Chocolate Soleil Bronzer £25: First up we have to talk about this bronzer, the packaging is to die for. Too Faced always get me with their stunning packaging, this bronzer is wrapped in a stung matte gold case that feels super sturdy and has a nice big mirror inside too making application quick and easy. The bronzer itself smells divine, remember the chocolate scent I was talking about with the Chocolate Bar Palette? Well this has exactly that fragrance so it’s pretty much ready to eat although I wouldn’t advise. The colour is perfect for warming up the complexion, I have been using this as an overall bronzer and a contour because it’s matte although for some it may be a little warm to use as a contour it still works well for me. I’m loving this bronzers right now, the pigmentation is incredible and the lasting power is great too.
Too Faced // Lip Insurance Lip Primer £14.50: This primer has been created to lock in that lip colour and to stop it from fading or feathering, when applied to the lips it feels a little wet but dries almost instantly leaving your lips feeling super soft and ready for lipstick application. It definitely helps my dry lips look a lot better and preps them nicely before application, it also does make my lipsticks last longer although I do find it makes my lipsticks a little bit more sticky on the lips which is odd because the primer alone on the lips feels like you have nothing on I guess when you put the lip product on afterwards it get’s working so the lippy lasts longer which indeed it does. Overall I really love this primer, it’s not like any I have tried before and it’s perfect for those who work long hours and don’t have time for touch ups.
Too Faced Melted Lipstick // Melted Coral £19: Up until recently I hadn’t tried any liquid lipstick products but now I’m slightly obsessed so when this turned up I was very excited to try. The Too Faced Melted Lipsticks have been raved about for quite some time and I can see why, the pigmentation is incredible and the lipstick is very comfortable to wear. The formula is very long wearing in fact I had to remove this at the end of the day because it was still on, it’s moisturising and very creamy on the lips not to mention super glossy… and it does stay glossy throughout the day which is incredible! The only downside for me is the price, I’d say if it was a little cheaper I’d be happy to buy a few more shades but for £19 I’m not sure I could justify it.
Have you tried any Too Faced products lately, I’d love to know what’s your favourite?
