What I’m Wearing & What’s New From Anastasia Beverly Hills

Lately I have been thinking that I never really get to experiment with makeup and fun colours so when the Anastasia Beverly Hills Summer collection popped through my letter box I just knew I had to get creative and have some fun! As a mother of a toddler I rarely get 5 minutes to even put makeup on in the morning and I find myself wearing less and less these days so it was really fun to take some time out for myself and get glammed up with these fun products.

Let’s talk you through what’s new to Anastasia Beverly Hills this Summer, if your a fan of ABH I’m sure your all very excited to see this colourful collection.

7 New Eyeshadows

Surface of the Sun – A warm, shimmery gold (satin)
Star Cobalt – An electric, galaxy blue (metallic)

Labyrinth – A smouldering, deep orchid (metallic)

Fawn – A soft, neutral olive (matte)
Cognac – A dramatic, coppery brown (satin)
Peach Sorbet – A sultry, rose champagne (metallic)
Amber – A rich, multi-dimensional gold (satin)

6 Waterproof Creme Colors

Barbie Pink – A true hot pink
Ice Blue – A cool, aqua blue
Coral Reef – A warm, orange
Sunset – A deep, minky pink
Yellow – A canary yellow
Ocean – A Pacific blue

2 Liquid Lipsticks
Unicorn – A gorgeous lavender
Craft – A deep yet wearable plum
As you can see there are quite a few new products, I really don’t know how they do it but each and every one seem pretty special to me. I haven’t had a chance to try them all out properly but what I’ve tried so far and everything I’ve swatched is pretty cool. The Waterproof Creme Colours really are waterproof, they do not budge and also work well on the waterline which you can see in the images above. The shadows are all pretty neutral Summery shades although I do wish they brought a couple more colourful shades out like they did with the Creme Colors, they do all work well together though which I guess is what they were working on.
The two new Liquid lipsticks are gorgeous too, Unicorn is not really a shade I’d wear but it’s a little more wearable compared to some of the Liquid Lipsticks they already have. Unicorn is a very pretty Lavendar that I’m sure will sell pretty quick, and Craft is a shade I’ve seen all over Instagram lately and I think it’s the perfect shade all year round. I really love berry shades and this fits into my collection beautifully!
The new Summer collection will launch May 15th and will be available from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Website and Macy’s Website/in store. Both sites do ship to the UK so go check them out!
