Oh I do love bronzed, glowing skin this time of the year. In fact I love it all year round so it will be no surprise to you that I’m obsessed with this product I’m talking to you about today. Crownbrush Blush, Bronze, Illuminate has been a palette I have been getting a lot of use out lately, I’ve had this for a few months now and I have to say I really love it.
Firstly let’s talk packaging, it’s pretty big but oh my I’m so grateful for the huge mirror inside there’s nothing worse than having a palette as big as this and for there not to be a mirror inside and it’s something I use a lot when I’m out and about. Despite the packaging being quite large it doesn’t really phase me as you’re getting three different face products so that’s pretty good if you ask me. The bronzer takes up half the palette which makes sense as it’s the product you’ll use the most with the blusher and highlighter taking up the other half.
Being a bronzer lover I wasn’t sure what I was going to think of this brush company giving makeup a go but I have to say I was really impressed, the bronzer applies really nicely and evenly too, it’s finely milled and a very soft powder. I did think that the colour would be quite dark on the face but it is in fact very buildabe and works really well as an all round bronzer. The blush is a very pretty coral/pink shade with a slight golden shimmer, it’s very pigmented so a light hand is recommended. Finally the highlighter, oh the highlighter! My favourite part of the palette, it really does add a nice amount of illuminosity to the skin without making you look like a glitter ball.
Finally a couple of Crownbrush brushes I’ve been loving to use with this palette are; C473 Pro Contour and the C437 Pro Dome blender. Both have worked really well for when I like to have a little contour, depending on your preference they’d both work well for a good contour but the Pro Dome blender would also work well for blush and highlighter too, the worlds your oyster!
P.S. I’m wearing Crownbrush Lip Liner Pencil in Not Pink and Chubby Lip Pencil in Parisian Cafe, what gorgeous shades!
