Go back in time and watch your child grow with Lifecake App

I’ve always had a passion for photography and ever since I started blogging my passion has grown so much, for me this has encouraged me even more to take snaps of little Vinny but to be honest when you become a parent you seem to take pictures of every moment with your child whether it’s seeing him eat something for the first time or taking photos at family events, it’s so nice to look back on and to see your little one grow.
I have recently been using a great app called Lifecake, if you are like me and always on your phone then you need to check this out because it’s a great way of sharing your photos with your family and friends that would like to see your child grow without feeling like you are going into snap overdrive and sharing too much. Lifecake is a bit like a photo time machine, you can basically upload your photo and videos securely into a unique timeline and share your childs journey with friends and family at a click of a button. It’s perfect for those that have family that live far away and want to keep updated with your little ones development and great for you to just look back on.

I often upload photos of Vinny onto social media sites but not all of my friends and family use them so they miss out on seeing them and I also don’t upload the 120 photos I take in a day…! I take a lot of photos guys! The app has lots of great features and you can add multiple children onto it so if you have more than one child or a growing bump then you can involve them too, I’ve already added Baby Prideaux number two onto the app and shared scan photos so it’s going to be really lovely to look back on and also share with family that have not yet been able to see the photos.

The team at Lifecake have created a heart-warming new film which I thought was super cute. ‘Me and My Bear’ tells the story of the relationship between child and toy, the bonds of the modern-day family no matter how far apart I really could relate to this film. You may have seen in a few photos that I’ve taken of Vinny in the past year him holding his ‘bear’ whom doesn’t leave his side ever so cute to see his relationship with ‘bear’ and how he interact with him. Watch the film below.
Finally I wanted to let you know about a fab competition Lifecake is currently running where you can win a three night stay at the fantastic Port Lympne Reserve. All you have to do is enter yourself into their photo contest to be in with a chance of winning. Upload a picture of you with your childhood toy (or your childs toy, Vinny let me borrow bear!) on Facebook here, or simply share your pic on Instagram or Twitter tagging @Lifecake and using the hashtag #MeAndMyBear. The full competition details can be viewed here: http://iconosquare.com/contests/meandmybear. Here’s mine:
