MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow Review

It’s been a little while since I wrote a review for you all and I have been wanting to write a review on this for quite some time since I rediscovered it a few months ago. I actually bought MAC Woodwinked a couple of years ago after watching Tanya Burr use it in one of her tutorials, in fact it may have been several tutorials because this is known to be a favourite of Tanyas including many other bloggers out there and I can totally see why.
MAC describe this deluxe pearl eyeshadow as a warm antique gold and I agree, that’s how it should be described. The shade has that warm undertone making it perfect for green, hazel, blue, and grey eyes. It’s a shade that goes with all neutrals and even looks gorgeous with MAC Cranberry, I’ve tried it and it’s a stunning combination. I have been wearing this alone quite a lot lately because it just gives the perfect wash of colour and it’s pretty much effortless to blend and apply, which is why it’s the perfect shade for those on the go and always in a rush!

Application is a dream and I find you can get a couple of finishes depending on how you apply it, I find when I pack it with a flat brush you get a gorgeous copper/gold finish, if I wet my brush prior to application the shimmer is even more intense and gives a metallic feel to the look. I love that with this shadow once you blend out the edges with a fluffy brush you get a warm almost matt brown peek through, it really is a pretty effect and creates two looks in one making it a multi use shadow and a beautiful on at that.
If your looking for a new eyeshadow to add to your MAC collection and your a neutrals lover then I’d highly recommend this shade, you won’t be disappointed!
