Add a Biker Jacket: When you are struggling to put together a look I think a biker jacket is always the way to go, there are so many great jackets out there with a huge range of colours and styles. I actually have a few different colours and styles to dress up different outfits and it always works a treat when I don’t know what to wear.
Get Your Sunglasses Out: I don’t know about you but I always feel way more chic when I have my sunglasses on, it makes me feel super put together and hey if you are having a bad makeup day it’s also a great way to hide those eyes! Pop on a red lip and you are ready to head out that door and still look great.
Don’t Be Afraid of Pattern: When you think of chic you may be thinking, plain and simple but don’t be afraid to add some texture or experiment with different patterns. If you are off to the races this year and want to get glam but still look chic then think about different fabrics like lace or embellishment, Forever Unique have a great range of dresses to choose from that are super chic. Shape wise I’d suggest something A-line, it’s always flattering, it will create a gorgeous tiny waist and be super comfortable too.
Know What Colours Look Good on You: Find out what colours best suit you and stick to those, I like to have quite a simple colour palette and stick to blacks, greys and whites. I like to accessorise with colour to bring a look together but having a simple colour palette will definitely help pull a look together and create a real polished look.
Get Basic: Having a few essential basics in your wardrobe is essential, this will enable you to layer looks and really get creative. Create a capsule wardrobe with a few key pieces that all work together, this will make putting an outfit together in a rush so much easier and it works out cheaper too!
Don’t Be Matchy: This is something I find quite hard doing but if you can do this then you will totally pull it off I’m sure, try to add a bit of clash and embrace your creativity. It may be a brightly coloured handbag or some statement jewellery, either way try and think out of the box and go bold!
