Tom Ford seems to be quite popular in the bloggersphere at the moment, I’ve seen many new launches pop up and more and more bloggers seem to be talking about the brand. I myself dipped into the Tom Ford world a couple of years ago after seeing Tanya Burr using a bronzer in one of her tutorials. That bronzer is what we are gong to be talking about today and that is the Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in the shade 02 Terra. As mentioned I’ve seen many new launches over the past few months but I believe the bronzing powder that is on sale in stores now just has brand new white packaging, which by the way looks incredible! I’m all for white, sleek packaging with gold detailing it’s absolutely stunning. I have the original packaging and size which is just as luxurious and very iconic, I believe they now offer a smaller compact which is perfect for those that want to give the brand a try because it’s not very purse friendly although if you want to add a dash of luxury to your makeup bag then this is definitely the brand for you. I own a few Tom Ford pieces; lipsticks, eyeshadows and the bronzing compact and I do love and use them all.
I got this bronzer quite some time ago now and to be honest it actually went to the back of my makeup drawer and didn’t really get a look in. The reason I had stopped using it was because it was so luxurious and expensive I was a little scared to use it but after seeing TF around so much lately it prompted me to shop my stash and get it out for the Spring/Summer season, after all I’m all about being bronzed and this gorgeous compact was just going to waste. I’m so glad I’ve rediscovered this little beauty and I have fallen in love with it all over again which is why I had to share it with you all on the blog today.
As mentioned there are currently two shades to choose from, Gold Dust and Terra. I chose Terra because the finish is slightly different to Gold Dust, it has more of a matte natural finish while Gold Dust has more of a shimmer to it with a golden shimmer running through it. Terra is the most beautiful neutral bronze shade that just adds a real sun kissed glow to the skin, it literally makes you look like you’ve been sat in the sun all day and caught the most beautiful tan. The formula is very light weight and seamless to blend, it literally is the easiest bronzer to apply because if you are like me and can be a little heavy-handed with the ol’ bronzer sometimes then you have nothing to worry about here because no matter how many layers you apply it still looks natural and very skin like. Despite it having a matte finish it doesn’t leave a heavy or powdery look to the skin in fact it gives a slight sheen and an almost satin finish, it’s very pretty.
I’m so obsessed with this bronzer the texture and colour is just perfect and if you are on the look out for something new and luxurious to try then I’d definitely recommend. I’m so glad they now come in a smaller size as it’s much more travel friendly being more compact and like I said the new white packaging is just divine. I now think I need the whole of the Soleil Colour Collection, the contouring compact and bronzing primer look particularly gorgeous.
Have you tried the Tom Ford Bronzing power before? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
