LINER SHADES (TOP – BOTTOM) TOAST, BLUSH, ROSE
Although I love lip products lip liners are actually something I don’t have many of and the ones I do have are mainly high end due to buying cheaper brands in the past and just not being happy with the outcome. Today however I want to share with you some lip liners that have really surprised me, Barry M is a brand I used a lot when I was younger.. .we all loved the dazzle dust right? I’ve always been a fan of the polishes but makeup is something I haven’t tried much of from this brand and recently they have been absolutely smashing it when it comes to new launches and trends.
Say hello to these gorgeous new lip liner shades and MAC dupe alert! When these popped through my letter box I was instantly excited about the shades, I’m all about rose, mauve and brown. I instantly started to think about what lipsticks would work really well with these liners, a couple being MAC Whirl and MAC Velvet Teddy which are two of my favourite shades.
When I tried these liners I could not believe how velvety soft they were to apply, not too soft so you still get a nice precise line but not too hard where you feel like your scratching your lips away. I really didn’t expect the texture to be quite so nice so I was pleasantly surprised, I then looked at the pricing for these liners and can you believe they are just £2.99 each! I quickly grabbed my MAC liners to see if they’d be good dupes and yes they are fantastic! Rose #15 is a dupe for MAC Soar, Toast #16 is a dupe for MAC Stripdown and Blush #17 is a dupe for Whirl. I’d say these liners are even more pigmented than the MAC ones and easier to work with which is a bonus.
I really love that because of the texture they are soft enough to wear as a lipstick and super easy to blend in, they also last so long. I’ve been wearing mine with the new Barry M lip oils over the top for an added glossy feel and wow I adore the way it looks, super great shades and amazing value for money I’d highly recommend!
Have you spotted these new lip liner shades from Barry M yet, which is your favourite?
