body shop drops of sun the body shop drops of sun review the body shop drops of sun review

You know me, I’m all about bronzed skin all year round so when this little bottle of goodness turned up at my doorstep I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I’ve never tried anything from The Body Shop Honey Bronze range but it gets so many rave reviews and there are so many products to choose from including bronzers, highlighters, eyeshadows and more! The product I want to talk to you about today is the Honey Bronze Drops of Sun Holiday Glow Creator, doesn’t that sound exotic and rather fabulous?! We don’t get much sun here in the UK so adding some to our makeup is going to make us feel a whole lot better right?

When I self tan I only use a light tanner on my face so I usually have a paler face and a bronzed body, this is the perfect product to even that out and it is super simple to use too which is great. I have to admit it does look rather daunting when you first take the pipette out, the product looks so dark and I did worry the first time I tried it that it would turn me into a piece of mahogany but thankfully it didn’t. I was left with a gorgeous sun-kissed natural glow which worked really well. The idea is to  add one or two drops to your daily moisturiser, or foundation to create a nice holiday glow. You can also add some extra drops to your foundation then use it to contour you skin which also looks great and gives a nice natural finish.

I really love that this has a matte finish so if you just wanted to mix this with your moisturiser and have a ‘no makeup’ day then this would still add a nice amount of colour to your skin and just make you look a whole lot healthier. For the price of just £12.99 I think this is a great product to try out if you also don’t really tan your face or would just like to keep your tan topped up between holidays, it’s a great commitment free product that would make all skin tones glow with minimal effort.

Have you tried this yet? Is it on your shopping list?
