3 New Lifestyle and Beauty Tips

NIVEA creme cleanse NIVEA cleanse niveaAs I was growing up my mum gave me many beauty and lifestyle tips that I still use to this day. As a way of saying thankyou I thought it would be a nice idea to share 3 brand new tips with my mum that she doesn’t already know. Here goes!

It’s time to introduce a Cleansing Routine.

Mum works around 6 days a week and never has time for that pamper evening she always encouraged me to have which is a shame. I want to introduce a simple cleansing routine that my mum can do each evening once she has finished work, this will help her to wind down and also give her skin the love and care it needs.

NIVEA have just launched a new range of gentle cleansers which have a nourishing formula that’s very caring and gentle on the skin. These products deeply cleanse and remove makeup leaving the skin touchably soft. They are really going to help mums skin look and feel beautiful and make it look really great. My mum has never really been one to deep cleanse her skin. With these three new NIVEA cleansers she has no excuse because they are so simple and easy to use.

The three cleansers have different formats to suit everyone, you can clean with water using the NIVEA Daily Essentials Creme Care Facial Cream Wash, use cotton wool with the lotion or even use the wipes for a super fast yet effective cleanse. I really love to double cleanse, I use the NIVEA Daily Essentials Creme Care Facial Cleansing Wipes to get the bulk of my makeup off then go in with the NIVEA Daily Essentials Creme Care Facial Lotion. This does a great job at making my skin feel fresh and clean, it’s so quick and easy to do. I adore the subtle NIVEA fragrance these products have, they really remind me of my nan as NIVEA was a product she swore by when I was a child.

How to apply self tan, to your face.

Mum has always been a little apprehensive when it comes to self tan. Let’s just say her past experiences haven’t gone that well so I thought I’d let her in on a little self tanning secret on how to tan your face with ease. This method gives me a streak-free flawless finish and all you need to do is;

Step 1: Apply a light moisturiser, this is going to act as a slight barrier so you’re not going to end up with a super dark complexion.

Step 2: Pop some tan onto a tanning mitt. (I like to use a mousse tanner)

Step 3: Grab a fluffy face brush and dab it into the tan. Work in circular motions around the whole of the face until it’s completely covered and don’t forget to work it down the neck.

Leave it on for the required time and wash off as normal, you will be left with a gorgeous subtle glow!

Let’s get social, on Snapchat!

OK so my mum is a bit of a technophobe, when she finds a phone she likes she sticks with it. Mum is scared of change and has been ‘meaning’ to upgrade her phone for about 5 years now so I thought it was about time I talked her through the latest social media trends and one that is super popular at the moment and a personal favourite is Snapchat. It’s such an easy social media site to use although I think a lot of people are rather intimidated by it at first including myself but it really is as simple as 1,2,3!
