Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette

still perfect me palette
I don’t know about you but when it comes to travelling and choosing makeup to take I struggle, I also find it hard narrowing down products I put in my makeup bag. I struggle with what to pack, and how much to pack. I also find that I end up packing way more than I need to which I think is just a girl thing right? Stila have just launched a fab eye and cheek palette which is going to definitely help with those packing issues. No need to pack separate blushes and shadows anymore, all you need is the Perfect me, perfect hue palette.

The Perfect me, perfect hue eye & cheek palette has been created to suit your skin tone. There are four neutral palettes to choose from; Fair/Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Tan, Tan/Deep. I have the palette Fair/Light and I also have tried Medium/Tan. I love that you can use any of the palettes to create a bunch of different looks, you are not limited to just the one. I opt for the Fair/Light palette for daytime use then switch it up and use the Medium/Tan for more of an evening dramatic look.

stilaI really love the look of this palette, its compact and has a fun gold leopard print detail on the lid which really stands out. The matte gold casing is very chic and the colours inside are really beautiful. There are five shadow shades to choose from which include every shade you need to create a full eye look; base, crease, lid, liner and highlighter plus two pretty blushes. In the Fair/Light palette you can expect soft rose shades with a pop of champagne. Most of the shadows are matte but you do get one shimmer shade which is a stunning pale gold.

still fair/lightWhen I first received the palette I did wonder if this would be a little too pale for me. I don’t usually reach for pink tones but I will say I’ve been using it way more than I thought I would. The pale matte shades make perfect base shadows and the deep brown shade is gorgeous for a smokey eye. I also use it along the lash line for a soft daytime look. The shadows are nicely pigmented and go on smoothly, as are the blushes. You really don’t need a lot of product, a little goes a very long way.

The blushes are very pretty also, again I’m not usually one for pink blushes but these are very pretty for spring/summer. Romantic, the lightest blush is a little too light for me so I use it as another shadow but Playful works as the perfect blush for me and looks beautiful with a tan despite this being a fair/light palette, see I told you it was versatile.

Overall I really love the idea of these palettes, I love that you are not limited to use just one and I also love how great it works for me on a daily basis. It’s the perfect daytime, neutral palette and it’s also really nice and compact making it ideal for travel.

Would you opt for more than one palette? I think I love the look of all of them!
