When you first found out you were pregnant what was the first thing you thought about buying? With Vinny it was definitely travel systems, and with Renzo it was the same too. I’m a bit of a pushchair hoarder, I love them and have had quite a few in the past 3 years. The latest travel system added to our collection and the one we are using for Renzo is the Stoke Xplory. Stokke is a baby brand I adore, I have used their products for many years now and can’t fault them so get ready for a raving review of the Xplory. I hope you enjoy!
As mentioned I love a pram or two… and from Stokke we’ve also had the Crusi and the Scoot. The Scoot being my favourite for quick trips out and about and perfect for those with not much boot space. The Crusi, ideal for those to love to shop because of the basket space and also for those with more than one child travelling. So why did I go for the Xplory this time you many wonder? We didnt actually need any extra space for Vinny as he walks now and would rather walk or hang around on Marks shoulders and well, isn’t this the most beautiful travel system you ever did see?
We have the Xplory in the newest shade Grey Melange, such a stunning shade that really makes this pram look elegant and chic. This is the perfect neutral shade and in my opinion much nicer than your average neutrals such as beiges and yellows. The pram comes with a variety of matching accessories such as a parasol, changing bag, and foot muff. The changing bag is actually a newer design too I believe, it’s amazing. I really love bags that are versatile and have lots of room and because you lack a basket with this travel system the extra space in the changing bag is ideal. The bag also clips onto the travel system so no need to hold, or if you wish you can pop it over your shoulder or turn it into a back pack! See I told you it had many qualities.
When Renzo was born we used the Carry Cot. It’s so lovely and spacious. It has carry handles which is really handy especially if Renzo stayed asleep after a long walk, we’d just carry it indoors and he could continue his little siesta. We now use the seat unit and it’s so lovely for Renzo to be able to sit up and see the world, the extra cushion included reduces the seat depth to fit the smallest babies which is perfect for his age. We also often use the car seat when we are just popping to the supermarket or nipping to the shops quickly, it’s so convenient and the car seat we currently use is the Stokke iZi Go car seat. It comes in the Grey Melange so everything matches, we love it!
The Xplory is height adjustable, perfect for those that want baby to be closer. I get so many compliments on how high up Renzo is and how lovely it is to see us engage with each other. Renzo is at ease seeing his mummy at all times and I just love looking at his gorgeous chubby cheeks and cheeky smile. The seating positions are almost endless and you can literally use this anywhere, at a restaurant, in the park, long walks by the beach. We use the Xplory wherever we go and we love it.
I’d like to point out that this doesn’t have a basket which may bother some people. Especially those that love to shop but you do get a rather large shopping bag that you can attach which is great for storing essentials and popping your bags into. We’ve had no problems in that aspect which is great, I do wish it had a shopping basket but apart from that we love the Xplory and will continue to use it.
Overall I’d highly recommend the Stokke Xplory. It is super easy to assemble, it’s a dream to push around and I just adore the closeness it gives us. It is definitely a conversation starter, I’ve had so many compliments on it and I’m so proud to push it around with my gorgeous little Renzo.
