So sorry for the lack of posts this week guys, I don’t quite know where the time has gone. I’m a write and post straight away kinda girl. I’m currently sat here surrounded by a bunch of toys, two children and babyTV…. ah the joys. I have so many post ideas floating around in my head and written in my phones notebook but for some reason I just haven’t had any time this week so here we are with post number one of the week and we are talking Autumn staples!
I have been watching a bunch of YouTube videos lately and everyone has started to get very excited for Autumn. I’ve seen makeup looks already, Autumn DIYs, and new Christmas launches from Zoella which by the way I’m super excited about.. How amazing does the new Zoella Lifestyle range look. I’m obsessed! Anyway on to the 3 products I’m going to be reaching for this Autumn and you should to.
I’m all about warm shadow shades pretty much all year round but this Autumn I plan to darken up my eye looks a little more and the perfect palette for this is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. This has been my absolute favourite palette since I got it and to be honest I haven’t really used anything else since. It’s the perfect palette for day and night looks offering a huge range of beautiful warm shades from golden browns to warm reds. The palette does have a bit of fall out but the pigmentation is fabulous and I’m in love.
Moving on to the lips… I’m cheating a little here as I have three lip products but they are pretty much one shade so that’s ok right? It’s time to grab your favourite vampy lip and get festive. I’m not really one for a super dark lip so instead of dark berry tones I opt for darker nudes. I recently grabbed some new nude lip products which are going to be perfect for the Autumn. My Autumn nude lip choices are; Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow which is a bit of a cooler toned Velvet Teddy. I also love Colourpop Lippie Stix in the shade Brink and Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Echo Park. All of these lip products are similar shades but they all have a different finish to suit my mood.
Finally, let’s talk skin. Our skin tends to get a lot dryer as the weather changes so I like to up my skincare routine a little and add in an oil. I usually use an oil anyway if my skin if feeling dry but in the autumn and winter months it’s a must. The face oil I will be reaching for is the Sönd Replenishing Facial Oil, I absolutely love this oil. I usually get put off oils because they make my skin a little too oily and the scents are usually vile however this has a really fresh and minty fragrance to it which I find really refreshing. It’s main ingredients are Silica and coconut oil which will replenish essential moisture and soften fine lines.. which I have plenty of!
