Hi guys, I hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend. I’m back with another weekend style post, we have been making the most of our family weekends and I just love Autumn, it’s a great excuse to get wrapped up and out. I really love Autumn fashion, it’s so nice to be able to layer up and get cosy I’m all about hiding those lumps and bumps right now so extra layers and comfy knits are totally up my street right now.
This weekend we all went out to have a nice stroll at the seaside, we went into the arcades nearby and had a spot of lunch too. It was so nice to get out in the fresh air, I had been cooped up all week working and it was just so nice to get out for a bit even though I had to work all day Sunday. It was also a great excuse to try our new coats out from Helly Hansen, I really love this brand for good quality winter coats.
I’ve been wanting a jacket like this for some time now, I obviously couldn’t get one last year as I was pregnant with Renzo but I’m so glad I have one now. This one is so comfortable and soft too, it’s called the W Verglas Hooded Down Insulato jacket and I have it in black. It is also available in 3 other colours too but I thought black would be classic and would go with a lot of the things I wear. I have accessorised my outfit with a gorgeous Pom hat from Joules and Bracken Woven Scarf in Navy. I love this scarf it’s such a classic design and so soft on the skin, and the hat is fabulous too. Did you know you can take the Pom off and change it for a different colour or just leave it off for a different look, so cool. I now need it in every colour!
Mark also got a new jacket from Helly Hansen, it’s called the Blazing Jacket and wow I love it. Mark chose the shade Evening Blue which I think is a really nice combination. It’s actually an insulated technical ski jacket, as you probably know we’ve never been skiing and I doubt we will right now but this is going to be perfect for Winter despite us probably getting no snow. It’s very masculine and stylish at the same time, it definitely keeps Mark warm because it’s waterproof, windproof, yet still breathable which is fantastic. There are also lots of pockets so if you were using it for skiing you can take advantage of the ski-pass pocket and also the dual hand-warming pockets and two chest pockets. Such a gorgeous jacket.
Onto the kids, I love bobble hats so when I saw this fab rainbow bobbie knitted hat from Joules I just had to get it for Vinny. I love the retro vibe and it’s so snuggly. Vinny is also wearing a Joules Striped Sweatshirt, this has a fleece lining in the body and the hood and as you can see it looks so warm. This is the perfect autumnal piece because it’s got that extra warmth that you wouldn’t usually get with a sweatshirt yet it’s still comfortable and casual. He has been wearing this alone or with a Gilet on super chilly days which I love too.
Renzo has got a cute Pom Pom hat too, I’ve been dying to get him one of these for so long. I got him the size 6-12 months but Renzo is a big boy so I probably could have got him the next size up to be honest but it still fits him well now and it also folds down so we will get some extra use out of it that way. I love Pom Pom hats.
What did you get up to at the weekend? Do you love Autumn fashion too?
