Whether you like a gloss, a hint of colour or a stain Make Up Forever have got you covered. New shades have just been launched for the Lip Fever Collection and these shades are going to be perfect for the festive season. Red Fever is the latest colour collection in Lip Fever to be launched by Dany Sanz and it’s one of my favourites so far. These colours are not only vibrant and bold but they also have a unique and unexpected texture, let me talk you through each one and how they can work for you.

This balm is the perfect product if you want to try a red shade but don’t usually wear reds. I don’t wear a lot of red lipsticks so this for me is the favourite, it’s got a super soft comfortable texture that is really nourishing on the lips. You get the qualities of a lipstick and a gloss in one with this retractable pencil, easy to apply with a radiant, glossy finish. The red shade is beautiful and the pigmentation is good for a balm, it’s enough colour to see you have a red lip on but subtle enough for those a bit scared of a red lip. Beautiful.

Now if you like something a little bolder then the Lip Blush is for you, this is a beautiful matte shade that feels very lightweight on the lips. The Lip Blush is very pigmented, the shade is a beautiful true red colour, with a slight berry tone and a velvet finish. This one is definitely a show stopper and would look gorgeous with a simple gold eye look and cat flick liner. It’s intense, very sexy and makes your lips look very pouty and plump.
[df_divider_text title=”Artist Acrylip #942, £15.00″ title_align=”separator_align_center” el_width=”100″ style=”solid” accent_color=”#EEEEEE” padding=”20px 0″ position=”align_center” el_class=”” border_t_width=”2px”]
Looking for an intense pop of colour? Try the Artist Acrylip, a rich textured, ultra-pigmented formula with an intense liquid colour. The Acrylip was inspired by acrylic paints used by artists, there is an insane amount of pigmentation in this formula and the shine you get is simply blinding! With it being such an intense, high shine colour you’d expect it to be quite heavy on the lips and thick to wear but it’s actually quite the opposite. Non sticky and very lightweight, the formulation is great but what I would say is that it can be a bit higher in maintenance for those with more mature lips. You may find an issue with the colour bleeding into lip creases so a quick tip would be to use a clear or red lip liner to avoid that.
So there you have it, three pretty fabulous lip products all offering different finishes and textures. A beautiful collection and in the most perfect party season shade. Red.
