Last Saturday morning I made a few little purchases whilst browsing the FeelUnique website, I was waiting for breakfast to begin in our hotel so when I was waiting I did a little bit of online shopping… Renzo had us up at 6am and breakfast wasn’t being served until 7.30am. I first heard about the new collection when I was scrolling through Instagram that morning, as you do and I just had to have a quick browse online, that browse ended up in a mini haul so here we are today.
When browsing the collection I was immediately drawn to the new face products that have been added to the line. Tanya has actually launched three new min collections, a lipstick range, a new shadow palette and the new Glow You Own Way range. The collection is all about glowing, radiant skin. I always admire how beautiful Tanya’s skin looks, it’s always so dewy and radiant and for this reason I have ended up buying so many base produces that she uses in her tutorials just to see if it will look the same on me. For that reason I got click happy and grabbed all of the face products apart from one and even a little gift set, if it’s good enough for Tanya its good enough for me!
The products arrived yesterday and I have to say I’m really impressed. I bought two of the three new Cheek Illuminators, I got Holiday Happiness a super pretty blush, and Golden Girl which is a bronze shade. The one shade I didn’t buy was Forever Summer which is a highlighter shade, the reason I didn’t get this one is because I have one very similar from the Rosie For Autograph collection which is also very similar in packaging. The rose gold packaging is almost identical but Tanya’s illuminators are a fraction of the price and even prettier when applied, much more dewy.
I also bought a face illuminator which I plan to blend in with my foundation or to use it prior to foundation application. For the images in this post I actually used the face illuminator all over the face before applying my foundation, I really like how it feels on the skin. There is also no scent which is great, I don’t like using heavily scented face products so I was glad to find out this didn’t have a fragrance at all. It blurs the skin minimising pores and it leaves a radiant glow which I love.
Lastly I grabbed the Beautifully Defined Palette. This palette includes 3 shadow shades, a shimmer powder and a bronzer. There is also a liquid highlighter included in the set which is beautiful. The palette itself is very cute, and the products are very generous in size. For £14.99 I’m really impressed, I’m super happy with the look I quickly created using the palette. I used every shade in the palette to create the look for this post, I also used both cheek illuminators… I had to try it all! You definitely don’t need to wear all at the same time but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I’m also really impressed with the shimmer powder highlighter in this palette, it really makes your cheeks pop and it also works well as an inner corner highlight.
Really loving this collection and think I now need to complete it by buying the Body Illuminator and the last cheek illuminator! What am I like?!
What do you think of the new Glow Your Own Way Range, is it something you’d buy?
