boden coat boohoo hat coddon hill north devon leopard print boots boden walking coddon hill Time for another weekend post, I’m really enjoying these weekend round ups at the moment it’s a nice way to share some memories and also some outfit posts too. Although I’m not a full-blown fashion blogger I still like to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. Have you noticed I actually wear a lot less black these days? I’ve actually come to the realisation that wearing all black can look a little harsh on me for day-to-day looks. I think black is so classic and it’s definitely my go to when I have nothing to wear but I’m also really enjoying trying new colours and textures too.

This weekend we had our usual trip to town which ended up being rather stressful. Town with a preschooler and a baby = stress central. You would have thought the stress would come from the baby but it was actually little Vinny bless him. Vinny loves to get his own way whenever we go to town, new toys, food, drink, basically if we go into a shop Vinny wants to do the opposite of what you are doing. Let’s just say he takes after his dad when shopping and gets bored very easily.

After a rather stressful Saturday we thought we’d have a chilled Sunday and go for a nice stroll. We were up, ready and out by 8am and went for a walk to Coddon Hill, it was a pretty steep and very chilly walk but it was so nice to get out in the fresh air. Although it was freezing I was nice and warm because I layered up with lots of knitwear. I was snug as a bug! I wore my double faced coatigan, which is such a simple yet easy to wear piece I have been living in it. This coatigan comes in two different colours, I have the navy and grey melange, it also comes in Oatmeal and Ivory which I’d love to get next another classic colour that’s easy to wear and super stylish.

I wore my light grey Molly jeggings from River Island, I love these jeans the colour is perfect all year round and they look great with my metallic spotty scarf,Β gloves combo and grey bobble hat, the hat is from Boohoo I had a little shop online last week and couldn’t resist. Finally how can I not mention the boots, oh these boots are beautiful aren’t they?! I am in love with leopard print this year, it’s a pretty big trend for AW and I’m so glad. Give me all the leopard print!

What did you get up to this weekend? Do your children hate town and shopping too? I’d love to know what you get up to instead.
