When a little black box lands on your doorstep with a mysterious ribbon wrapped around it you just have to open it right?! As a beauty blogger I get quite a lot of exciting packages, some that I know about and some that are completely unexpected and this was exactly that. After a long day shopping I came home to this fab box of treats, now I get a lot of products and try many new brands and I have to say this brand excites me. It excites me a lot.
Welcome, Beauty Pie. Luxury cosmetics at factory prices created by a team of beauty-product obsessives just like you and I. Yes you heard correctly. No mumbo-jumbo. No Middlemen. No markups. So whats the catch? There isn’t one, Beauty Pie sources the best beauty products from a global base of suppliers just for you.
How do I sign up?
You can shop Beauty Pie whether you are a member or not but you will probably want to become a member pretty fast once you see the price difference. There are two prices shown on the site, a regular price for non members and a members-only factory price (this makes me very happy). Who doesn’t love to buy makeup at factory prices? An example of the price difference; Everyday Great Skin Foundation Regular Price: £30 and Members-Only Price £4.75!
Membership costs £10 per month and you can buy up to £100 worth of beauty products per month at factory prices. If you don’t spend all of your shopping allowance one month it will just roll over to the next so you can spend it then.
Where to start?! There are so many products to choose from, Beauty Pie have covered all things Face, Cheeks, Eyes and Lips! I haven’t had a chance to try everything yet but I have used the foundation which I’m super impressed by, its lightweight and gives a nice medium coverage that lasts all day.
I’ve also tried one of the glosses in the shade Sugar Bun and the shade itself is very me. A gorgeous nude pink that not only looks amazing on the lips it also feels amazing too. Not sticky in any way, it’s very light and can be layered without feeling gloopy or messy. Gorgeous, oh and it smells yummy too a little like a vanilla cupcake. Yum.
Now this is interesting…
One thing I did notice about the sleek packaging is that it’s all very lightweight and that is because they haven’t added any weights to the lipsticks or compacts. There are no fancy caps, metal cladding or rigid plastic jars. Definitely no over packaging here which is great and I also love that none of the products have been tested on animals either. I really like this brand already and I’m so excited to see and try more.
What do you think about the Beauty Pie concept, is it something you’d take full advantage of as a beauty lover?
