Glossybox, my first ever beauty box subscription. I remember subscribing to Glossybox when I first started blogging and I was always so excited to see what was inside the box each month. Today I have the June ‘Park Life’ box to share with you and I have to say, it’s such good value for money! This is just £10 to buy (plus P&P) and you get a lot of goodies. Let’s take a look inside shall we.
OK so the first thing that caught my eye was the full-sized Batiste XXL Volume Spray RRP £4.29. I’m always looking for new products to try to add a bit of volume to my locks so I can’t wait to give this a try. This promises to nourish and strengthen the hair as well as add more height at the roots and crown. Perfect!
Continuing with hair products there was also a Noughty Intensive Care Leave-in Conditioner included in the box, RRP £6.99. We’ve already gone over the price of £10 for the box with just two products….! The ingredients in this vegan friendly leave-in conditioner includes shea butter and argan oil which helps dry, frizzy hair. My over processed hair can definitely do with some of this. It smells gorgeous too!
Let’s move onto makeup. You get a Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayon RRP £5.50, again full size and such a pretty colour. This lip crayon plumps the lips due to its lip-tingling ingredient so if you want pouty lips then this could be your new favourite.
And if you are after a beautiful glow then the Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glow (Full size RRP £22.50) is going to be perfect. This doesn’t come as a full-sized product but you do get a good amount and I think it would last quite some time. You can use this on your bare skin for a dewy glow, mix it in with your foundation to add luminosity or pop on the tops of your cheekbones to complete your makeup look.
Finally one for us ladies suffering with fine lines, dark circles and puffy eyes. The 111 Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel is one of the skincare products featured in this box. The full RRP is a whopping £110 so it’s a great opportunity to try out such a pricey product, although you don’t get the full size in this box you again get a great amount that would last a decent amount of time for you to get a good feel for the product. This should really improve the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.
I can’t wait to try it along with the Beautypro Black Diamond peel off mask RRP £4.95. I do love a peel off mask, I find them so satisfying. Apply a thin layer to dry skin, leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Once it’s dry, peel off and see those blackheads disappear. Sounds gross but I bet it feels good!
Included in the box was also a little bonus – an extract of Louise Pentland’s new book Wilde Like Me. This is the first preview to be released, I shall be giving this a read this afternoon with a lovely cuppa to see if I’d like to buy the book. I think this is such a great idea and I hope Glossybox do more of these.
July Sneak Peak: Look out for a Spectrum Fan brush in your box next month!
