It’s been a while since I’ve been able to just sit down and play with makeup. It’s one of my favourite things to do, experiment with different looks. Try different products and see what I come up with. Last night I had some time to just sit and do my thing and whilst creating the look I noticed I used a few Stila products which gave me some inspiration for todays post. 4 Stila Products You Should Try.
I really love Stila, from the packaging to the products. They never seem to disappoint. The quality of their products are really great and I don’t think there has ever been anything I don’t like or use. The first product I have to recommend is the Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Smoldering Satin. This is such a unique product, it’s basically a glitter eyeshadow in liquid form and I have to say it’s one of the easiest products to use when you want to jazz up your eye look with ease. I’m not amazing when it comes to creating dramatic looks but this adds the drama with just one sweep across the eyelid. It’s absolutely amazing and there are currently 9 shades to choose from.
For the lips I adore the Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. The formula of these liquid lipsticks is so lightweight and they seriously last all day. I do find that some liquid lip products can be very drying on my lips and rather uncomfortable to wear after a while but these have been fab and there are so many gorgeous shades to choose from. As a nude lover I love Baci, it’s a really pretty pink nude. And Notte is a deep vampy red, super dark and very striking.
Finally onto some of my favourite base products. The One Step Correct is an amazing correcting and brightening serum. I love using this before I apply foundation and even on no makeup days just to even out my skin tone. It’s really nice on the skin and super smoothing. For a full review with before and afters you can read this post here.
I also think you should try this gorgeous highlighter. The Heaven’s Hue Highlighter in the shade Transcendence. This is a super sheer highlighter and it just gives the most beautiful lilac hue on the skin. Not something I thought I’d like but it’s actually so pretty and although it’s subtle it still gives that gorgeous glow on the skin. I’d love to try the other shades out. They all look beautiful and the putty type texture of the product is so strange but also very unique, in a good way.
Here are some swatches of the products pictured, I have also written some other Stila reviews if you want to hear even more about the brand.
I’d love to hear what your favourite Stila product is.
