now tv kids passSummer holidays have just begun and what great time for us to test out the NOW TV Kids Pass! Don’t get me wrong we will be making the most of the holidays and getting out with the kids. But for those admin/work days when I need to stay in I need something to help keep the boys entertained.

When NOW TV asked us if we wanted to try out the NOW TV Kids Pass I couldn’t resist and of course jumped at the opportunity, it was perfect timing for us and since moving everything has been a little all over the place so I thought it would be a really lovely treat for the boys. It’s really helped me keep Vinny entertained especially because he is at the age where he loves to control and pick everything from what he is watching to actually doing it himself. He no longer wants to ask me to do things for him, he is pretty independent and has been learning to use the remote control himself which is crazy right?!

NOW TV is the easy way to get the movies, shows and sports you want, when you want. I’m not one for sports but I do love to watch a movie with the kids and of course the kids love watching all things Peppa Pig and Spongebob Squarepants. Luckily all you need to get started is an internet connection and a compatible device like an iPhone, TV or tablet. Literally you can watch this on so many devices including games consoles!

All without a contract, I absolutely hate it when you have to get tangled up in contracts, I find them annoying to get out of and it’s just an inconvenience for me so the fact that this has no contract is a real bonus. Especially because it’s me that usually has to sort out all of the bills… Theres nothing worse than being put on hold and listening to random music for half an hour trying to get through to someone to cancel or change something. NOW TV Kids Month Pass is just £2.99 per month and you can cancel this at any time.

now tv kids passThere are 1000s of episodes to choose from on the 6 amazing channels not found on Freeview. Some of these channels include Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network one of my personal favourites as a child, I used to love watching Top Cat, anyone else remember that show? You can also catch Nicktoons and Boomerang on the NOW TV Kids Pass too.

There are so many great shows to choose from like Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, and the best thing about the kids pass is that it’s all on demand, so no adverts! Vinny absolutely hates adverts, he has got used to his dad forwarding them on the TV all of the time so it’s great he doesn’t have to worry about that anymore.

I have to say one of our favourite features is the kids menu. It’s really easy to navigate and Vinny really enjoys going through all of the different programmes he can watch. As I mentioned he is rather independent and has been learning to use the remote himself which is rather nice because we all know how indecisive kids can be and when I’m trying to get work done I really don’t want him coming to me every five minutes to change what he is watching to another show. He’s spoilt for choice!

There’s even some great shows for Mark and I to watch too using the NOW TV Entertainment pass, it’s always nice to have movies and programmes that you can all watch as a family. I’d definitely recommend if you’ve been thinking about giving it a try, it’s given us the opportunity to enjoy time as a family and it’s also given Vinny some independence and entertainment.
