july favourites OK so we are a week into August already and what a busy month July was! It’s been a bit of a crazy month but I’ll tell you what. August and September are even busier. If you missed my announcement on Instagram, we are going to Walt Disney World at the end of the month and then when we get home our house renovations begin. Plus Vinny starts school! My head is all over the place at the moment so I thought I’d just take some chill time and write a little roundup post of the things I loved in July.

perfume favouriteLet’s start with a fragrance that I have absolutely been LOVING this month. That is Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf. I have to admit I have heard so many people talk about this fragrance for quite a few years now and as usual I’m always late to the party but my oh my what a party it is. This perfume is gorgeous.

You may remember me saying my favourite fragrance was by Jimmy Choo in my recent perfume video but this has actually taken its place. They are quite similar with regards to the type of scent, they both have quite a distinctive smell but this one is a little sweeter. I’m the worst at describing scents to I’d just advise to go smell it when you are next in your local department store because it’s divine!

beauty pie lipstick Next up is a lipstick that I haven’t stopped wearing for about 6 weeks now although you wouldn’t tell by the picture right? Cowboy Nude by Beauty Pie is my new fave. I don’t know how it’s not going down but I’m so glad it’s lasting because it’s a beaut of a lipstick. One of my favourite all time lipsticks is MAC Velvet Teddy, this is quite similar but actually more wearable and hydrating.

It is a matte finish like Velvet Teddy but has a slightly more pink undertone. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s a very creamy matte lipstick and it lasts all day long! Even when I’m eating and drinking this lipstick lasts so well. You do get a little disappear around the centre of the lips but it fades away nicely. An absolute gorgeous lippy and if you are looking for a fab pink/nude I’d highly recommend. If you are a member of Beauty Pie you can pick this up for £2.24, non Beauty Pie members pay £20. la mer bronzerLa Mer, La Mer, La Mer! Thankyou for creating this bronzer. The La Mer Limited Edition Bronzing Powder from the Soleil de La Mer Collection has been used so much this month, daily in fact. Now if you are after a natural bronzer then this is for you. It literally lasts all day and you need the tiniest amount of product because it’s ultra pigmented. It’s £65 to buy which is pricey but it will last such a long time so really worth it if you are a bronzing fan. I love that it gives the skin such a beautiful glow and it blends into the skin seamlessly. Gorgeous!

july favourites About a month ago I had my lips done, you may remember from this vlog here. And ever since I’ve been taking some extra care with my lip care routine. I can’t say I really had a lip care routine before, I would add a little balm every now and then but now I like to use these Dragon’s Blood lip masks by Rodial on a weekly basis for that extra pamper.

When I’m having a bath I will pop one of these on for about ten minutes and it leaves my lips feelings super soft and plumped. It makes a huge difference in making them feeling more hydrated and it feels lovely to wear too. The mask is quite large so it covers quite a large area and it doesn’t slip off or move around which is good! You can buy these individually which is great for just £6 or in a pack of 8 for £39.00.

favourites Finally a couple of Nip + Fab products that I have been using to death! Nip + Fab recently launched a makeup line and I’ve been trying a few products from their collection. My favourite is the foundation. I had heard a few mixed reviews on this but I wanted to try it for myself and I’ve been using it as my daily foundation for about a month or so now. The shade I use #20 is perfect for me, it has a nice yellow undertone which works perfectly with my freshly tanned skin and it gives a nice amount of coverage too. I love the packaging as it’s super easy to use and the light liquid texture of the foundation is good too. For £12.95 I’d definitely repurchase, it’s the perfect everyday foundation for me.

I’ve also been obsessed with the Glycolic Fix Foaming Pads. I suffer with dry skin around my nose and chin area. It can get really frustrating especially when it comes to makeup application but these have made a huge difference. I still have a bit of texture on my chin but the dry skin around my nose has gone completely and that makes me so happy. The pads are double-sided, one side is smooth to polish the skin and the other is textured, used to exfoliate. I love the textured side, what I usually do is use the smooth side first to lather up the solution on my face and then I go in with the textured side to buff the dry skin away. After I use these my skin feels so smooth and soft. You get 30 pads in one pack and it’s £14.95 to buy, so basically 50p a pad. Not bad and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

What have you been loving this month? I’d love to know!
