I know, I know. You’re probably thinking, buying someone a fragrance can actually be quite difficult but guys, it’s really not. Buying a scent for someone can be a really special way to show them you’ve been thinking about them, and thinking about what suits them. Now when buying perfumes online it can be extremely difficult to choose, after all you can’t actually smell the fragrance your buying so unless you already know it then you may be a little lost at first. But don’t worry, I’m going to teach you a few tricks to help you buy the perfect scent for that special someone.
DO YOUR RESEARCH
Find out their favourite perfume. Maybe you can’t quite check their vanity or fragrance collection but try to get a little closer. Notice any kinds of scents that stand out, maybe it’s quite woody, quite sweet or a floral fragrance. Any of these little details will help you with your purchase online.
TAKE A RISK
I’m a sucker for cute packaging so I love choosing beautiful gift sets and pretty bottles so look for something that stands out. You may even find something for yourself along the way like I did, I went for Boss The Scent for women, the packaging is stunning. It’s got Gold detailing and a beautiful glass bottle with rose gold liquid. I’m Sold!
STICK WITH WHAT YOU KNOW
If you know they love a particular brand then stick with it, just try different fragrances from their collections. Maybe they’ve recently brought out something new or there’s a fab gift set available. Stay with what you know if you’re not quite willing to take a risk, it’s a safe option but one that always works well. I got Mark Boss The Scent this Christmas because I know he loves Hugo Boss fragrances, he has quite the collection now and after smelling this when it arrived I just knew he would love it.
