Hi guys, hope you are all well? I wanted to share with you our bathroom renovation today. As you know we have been renovating our home and one of the biggest transformations was the bathroom. I really wanted to make this a classic, beautiful space and I’m so happy with the outcome. I have filmed a bathroom tour which you can watch here, this also includes some before footage so you can really see how we’ve transformed the space.
I opted for a pretty neutral colour palette mixing creams, golds and white with a hint of pink. The main feature is the vanity unit which is from Soak.com. I chose this in cream because I wanted to steer away from my usual grey colour choice but it is also available in grey for those wondering. I think this traditional unit is super gorgeous, I love that it has storage and the sink is beautiful.
I chose white tiles from Topps Tiles, although I wanted to add more colour. I was a little worried that I’d get bored in the future so I kept things classic with a white tile. What I love most about these is that they are not just a plain white tile, they have a gorgeous detailing that really stands out and they go beautifully with the classic design we’ve gone for.
Keeping with the traditional theme we’ve changed the original radiator for this gorgeous towel rail. How beautiful is it?! Again this is from Soak.com I bought this during a discount weekend so managed to get some £ off which was good, it’s quite a pricey piece but totally worth the splurge. Oh and if you love it as much as I do, don’t worry I have a discount code at the end of this post for you.
I accessorised with flowers and plants, both of which are faux. I just can’t keep plants alive, plus this saves time and money. The flowers in a vase are from Laura Ashley and the planter is from Urban Outfitters. I really love that I opted to add a touch gold, it just adds a little modern twist to the room. The ivy plant is off of amazon, and it was a round £6 I think. Bargain!
I chose a straight bath and Mira fixtures and fittings. I’m so pleased with the shower, it’s called the Mira Agile Sense ERD+ and it includes an integrated Sense module which displays time and temperature for precise control. The taps are from the Evolve collection and I really love them.
I’d love to know what you think of our new bathroom, did you see the before?
