This weekend we took a spontaneous trip to one of our favourite places again, Bath. We actually went this time last year and had such a wonderful time. This year I really want to travel with the boys, we got to travel quite a lot for us last year and loved it. This year we plan on taking a few more UK trips and as the boys get older it gets that much easier which is lovely.
During our flying visit to Bath we went to Vinnys favourite park, enjoyed walking. Lot's of walking and also took some time to just relax and chill out in our wonderful Bath Boutique Stays home, Gravitas House.
We stayed with Bath Boutique Stays again and I couldn't recommend them enough. They are perfect for families, and also have some great Hen and Stag packages so if you want to get away with your friends definitely check them out.
I wanted to create a little photo diary of our stay, and I did also film a vlog which will be going live on my channel tomorrow. So I hope you enjoy that. It's definitly a huge task trying to film, talk photos, update Instagram and enjoy the moments too so I did my best to balance them all and I hope that shows.
We were able to bring granny along with us which was really fab because Mark and I managed to get some us time in whilst we were away also which is something I really wanted to do more this year. We looked around the shops and also managed to go for dinner and have a date night. The diet may have slipped slightly for the evening but we did stay on plan 80% of the day which I think I pretty good don't you?
As mentioned we stayed at Gravitas House. This house is beautiful, it sleeps 2-12+ and it has so much character. Travel cots and Highchairs are included free of charge and it's really been renovated to a high standard. I did forget to ask so I'm unsure if stair gates are available but that's something to mention if visiting this property as there are a lot of stairs. Other than that I really can't fault it, the location is central and the property is just 100 metres from The Royal Crescent which is a must see if you're visiting Bath anytime soon.
Another place to visit if you have children is Royal Victoria Park. This park is the biggest park we've ever been to. There is also a snack bar near by and you can also take a stroll across to the pond to feed the ducks too. It was Renzos first time feeding the ducks and he had the best time. The kids laughed all day whilst we were at the park you could literally spend all day here if you wanted to there's so much to do. Vinny had Bath Blues when we got home. He went to bed at his usual time, looking a little glum and half an hour later he came downstairs really upset saying he wanted to be in Bath still. Honestly he melts my heart! Thankfully he went off to school as his usual chirpy self today!
I will leave you with some more photos from our stay, I hope you enjoy them.
I'll end it with a picture of Mark and I sitting in the snug, we had a lovely glass of champers and got to really enjoy some quality time together which was so nice. If you'd like to see more from our trip make sure you are subscribed to my channel and check out our vlog coming tomorrow at 7am.
