Floor Ideas for the new Kitchen/Diner

I mentioned in my post yesterday I was unsure on what kind of flooring I wanted in the dining room part of our conversion, I mentioned wood flooring and even carpets but I didn’t think about vinyl or laminate until now. In the past Mark and I have done houses up and always used vinyl in the kitchens and bathrooms so I don’t know why I didn’t really think about it for our home, there is such a great selection to choose from and I really love the look of Carpetrights new SS15 collection.
There are so many cute ideas from wooden flooring to stripes and patterns so if we really wanted to go all out we could opt for something a little more funky. I really love the look of the pale grey wood effect vinyl and I also think it would be super easy to look after compared to real wood plus it would cost just a fraction of what you’d pay for wood so this could be a real contender!
What do you think of Vinyl flooring, do you have it in your home?
