Valentines Gift Guide

I can’t quite believe that Valentines Day is next week that is insane! I have to admit I haven’t really been thinking about Valentines itself just because we have so much going on at the moment but I am rather excited for the 14th because our new kitchen is being delivered, ah what an exciting life I lead. To be honest I’m very happy to have a snuggly romantic night in watching our favourite movie with lots of cuddles and food… mmmm food! That being said we still do buy gifts for each other despite not making a huge deal about Valentines, it’s a great excuse to treat one another and just get spoilt so today I’m featuring a few of my top gifts this Valentines I hope they give you some inspiration if your stuck on what to get your Valentine.
How about some His & Hers watches from Daniel Wellington… I love DW so much so it’s a must that you both get treated to a new watch and what better way to do it than to get matching ones. Mark and I now have the Classic Canterbury with rose gold hardware, these watches are stunning and I think will be perfect in the summer they just have that gorgeous preppy summery vibe which I adore. If you’re looking to buy a DW watch enter valentineliza for 15% off your order.

These days Mark and I just buy quite funny cards for each other rather than romantic, I just had to get Mark this card from because I know for a fact it will make him laugh. Mark always says to me ‘a hungry bubbs is a grumpy bubbs’ so when I saw this I thought of him immediately, when ever we talk about gifts for one another Mark always says he is going to buy me chocolates because I’m most happy when I’m eating which is very true, he knows me so well.
Want some gorgeous unique jewels for your Valentines gift? I’d definitely recommend hinting about Absolute Pearls, this is a great online retailer that sells beautiful precious pearls. I think pearls are such an elegant and chic gift to buy someone and something that’s truly timeless, this White Pearl & Cubic Zirconia Ring would make the perfect gift it’s super unique and it comes beautifully presented in a gorgeous case. Oh and if your wondering where the gorgeous Ted Baker notebook is from it’s from InternetGiftStore, I’m obsessed with notebooks at the moment I have so many this is the latest added to my collection and I think it would also be perfect for any stationary geek!
Beauty fan to buy for? I had to mention my favourite tanning company Cocoa Brown tan, I’d highly recommend a CB gift set this Valentines the perfect gift for any tan addict like myself. I’m always so shocked to see how cheap you can buy these sets for, they are such great value for money and even great to stock up on if you just love to tan. The set includes a tanning mitt, the 1 hour tanning mouse, a tube of tough stuff and a tube of chocolate whip. The perfect combination for a perfect tan. Another cute pink gift I’d recommend is this Victoria Secret body mist, buying fragrances can be quite hard when your buying for someone else but body mists I think are a little safer and you can get some many beautiful scents. I adore this one by Victoria secret and I also think it’s quite a rare one to find as with most VS items in the UK so go snap this one up from Fragrance Direct, they have quite a gorgeous little selection of VS products.
Time to get a little more personal and sentimental, if your a hopeless romantic then why not buy one of these gorgeous pieces from Feather & Twig. Feather & Twig gives you the option to create your own personalised handcrafted print on a wooden block, each piece is unique and simply stunning all you need to do is choose the size block you want, email over an image and wait for your beautiful piece of art to arrive in the post. I really love how you can see the wood grooves through the image, it really gives that rustic feel and it comes beautifully wrapped with brown paper and of course a feather an twig, it’s fabulous.
If your looking for a great last minute buy you can grab this fabulous duo on the High street in M&S, I really love Roger & Gallet it’s a brand that I have been using for a few years now and I always find the fragrances to be so fun and gorgeous. The Rose collection is perfect for Valentines day and the scent is so romantic and fresh I really love rose scents and I think it would be perfect to wear when your off on a date, the collection also includes a hand and nail cream, so grab all three and really impress your partner she will love it!
Last but not least how about this cute tiny little personalised message & photo in a bottle! I again had to get this for Mark because for some reason he loves this picture of Vinny, himself and I and so do I. The message on the back just says ‘Love you’ but you can add any message and photo you like, it’s a super cute little gift and I imagine would be a cute proposal message bottle… so sweet!
I hope this post inspired you if you a little stuck on what to buy your Valentine or stuck on what to ask for, I think there are some really cute and quirky gifts here. I’d love to know what your favourite is?
