Spring Lip Picks

My lip product collection is getting pretty large so I thought it was about time I share with you my Spring favourites, I have to tell you although my collection is huge I always stick to the same few shades they always make me feel confident when smiling and that’s perfect because did you know that next month it’s National Smile month, let me share with you the lip products that I know are going to make you smile because it it definitely helps when you feel confident in your smile, and although my teeth aren’t quite perfect (I will be visiting a dentist soon so talk about my smile and how I can change it for the better) a new lippy always makes me feel better.
Clarins Instant Light Balm: 01 Rose
I have two of these Instant Light Balms and if your after something a little glossy yet super moisturising then this is for you. There is a gel like texture to this balm, it glides on beautifully to the lips and adds a small amount of colour I’d say it’s the perfect ‘on the go’ lip product and one for the handbag for sure and the barely there pink colour is simply angelic.

Bourjois Color Boost Crayon: 07 Proudly Naked
I’ve already raved about this lip crayon in a recent Liza Loves post and I had to give it another mention, Bourjois are such a fantastic high street brand that never fail to impress. The Color Boost Crayons add a gorgeous amount of colour and shine to the lips and this shade gives that ‘my lips but even better’ look!

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick: Pink Brandy 825
If your after something with a little more pigment and colour then you must check out this lipstick by Max Factor, the coral colour has a slightly red undertone and is the perfect pop of colour for Spring/Summer and the high pigment results are to die for. This lipstick creates a gorgeous smooth finish on the lips and adds a great amount of colour, there are so many shades to choose from and also some more metallic finishes too if that’s what your after.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick: Lychee
Now for a lipstick that’s sheer and a favourite of mine, on an everyday basis I usually opt for more sheer colours and I love it when my lips feel moisturised, look super healthy and not dry in any way and applying this Tarte lippy has been amazing. Sheer, pretty perfection with a pinky nude finish, it’s super fresh and applies like butter as the name would suggest.

Too Faced Melted Metal: Melted Metallic Debutante
If you’ve tried the original Too Faced Melted lipsticks and were a fan then check out the Melted metal lipsticks, with metallic finish a full pop of colour you will not be disappointed this gorgeous coral shade has flickers of gold in it that catches the light beautifully. I really love how these just glide onto the lips perfectly, application is an absolute dream and the colour payoff is fantastic. I’d say they last around 2-3 hours like all of the lip products mentioned today and really add a fun touch to a Spring lip with that added frosty feel to it which is something you wouldn’t usually see much of this time of year. I love them!
