Vita Liberata Face Tanning Favourites

vita liberata face tanning mask and bronzer

Girls, I’ve made a rather fabulous discovery lately and I’ve been dying to share it with you. Who struggles when it comes to tanning the face? I definitely fall into that category, for starters my face seems to be the one part of my body that doesn’t tan no matter what I do and it also tans horribly when I use the same tan I’m using on my body leaving me patchy and streaky so for quite some time now I stopped tanning my face and just made up for it with darker foundations and bronzers. Recently Vita Liberata came into my life and let me tell you my face tanning life has been made much easier, I’ve been trying a couple of products out for a little while now and I’m so happy with them so let me tell you about them and why you need them.

Vita Liberata Self Tanning Night Moisture Mask £29.95
I love wearing a mask and really giving my skin a bit of TLC so when I saw this self tanning mask I couldn’t wait to try it. The VL Night Moisture Mask promises to give a natural glow by the morning, hydrate the skin and also has anti ageing ingredients such as apple which softens fine lines and wrinkles. This rich silky formula is an absolute dream on my combination/dry skin, it’s definitely a nice one to wear over night as it is quite thick so for some it may be a little too much to wear under makeup although I have done it and it’s still worked fine.
I really love popping this on after my usual evening skincare routine and giving my skin a pamper whilst adding a subtle glow, it’s definitely build able and for those that are scared about tanning the face this is for you because it’s something you can build up to your desired colour over a few days. For some that would like an instant colour then this may not be for you but the next product will be, I’m so happy with the way it just takes the edge off my ghostly face and it has really made by skin feel gorgeous too. I’m in love!

Vita Liberata Trystal Self Tanning Bronzing Minerals £35.00
On to the next product, it’s a rather fabulous one and one of a kind. VL have come out with it’s very own tanning bronzer, at first I did wonder how this was going to work as you can apply this over a face full of makeup or if preferred onto your bare skin. Trystal Minerals comes in two shades; Light and Medium I have the shade medium which is perfect for my medium skin tone. Trystal3™ Technology combines an instant pure mineral bronze colour with long lasting self tan results for a beautiful, natural – looking medium tan that lasts for days.
This oil free bronzer is lightweight and gives a beautiful all over glow in an instance, I have used this along with my Moisture Mask and together they have given me the most perfect glow that’s not patchy. It’s a great product and so easy to work with, I love to pop this over my whole face and then go back in with the super soft Kabuki included and pop it onto the areas where I’d usually contour for a more intense tan it works great at chiseling out those cheek bones whilst still looking natural. Perfect for those who need to get their glow on and looks fab when you’re makeup free too! I’d love to see VL bring out a compact like this which would be much easier to use when travelling and on the go but apart from that a huge thumbs up from me!
Do you struggle when tanning the face? I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these before and your thoughts.
