Canon Powershot N2 Review

Canon Powershot N2 Digital Camera in White Exclusive to Jessops £249.00 was £289.00

Since becoming a blogger I’ve become quite the tech geek, I absolutely love cameras and photography I have to say it’s one of my favourites parts of blogging. I get to create wonderful images for my blog, film YouTube videos and capture amazing memories with my family, I have quite a few different cameras and lenses and the latest added to my collection is the Canon N2. The Canon Powershot N2 is one of Canons compact cameras, it’s a minimalist camera designed to be easy to use with incredible quality even though it is so tiny and compact, perfect for vloggers and so many great features that I want to share with you today.

First of all lets talk about how compact and tiny this camera is it is literally small enough to keep in your pocket! I have never used a digital camera this small before and I have to say it’s perfect for when you are on the go and need a camera with you for quick snaps out and about. There is also a really great flip up selfie screen so you can see yourself before taking that all important selfie or if you are a vlogger then you can see yourself whilst filming and make sure you are in the frame. I really love the selfie screen I think it’s a really great feature, to take a snap you can either push down on the shoot ring which is on the lens, as you put slight pressure on it you will hear a click noise and it will take a picture or you can adjust the camera so that when you touch the screen you can take a picture that way. I prefer to touch the screen when taking a photo as I find this easier but I also find it is very sensitive so even when you aren’t trying to take a picture you may accidentally touch the screen still.Below are some sample images taken with the camera (the only edits made to these images are brightening and saturation, I do this with most of my photos that feature on Glambeautys)

Another aspect I love about this camera is that is has Wifi so you can connect this to your mobile or chosen device and you can also upload directly to social media which is pretty cool, I think this should be on all cameras! The image quality is really good with and the camera offers and impressive 16.1 megapixels, crisp and clear in many different lighting situations and filming is great too. If you want to get a little creative whilst taking your images you can just turn on Creative Shot and snap away, creative shot lets you use a number of different filters and creative effects which you can use on your images and videos.

Charging this camera is super easy, simply charge using the USB cable. I have been plugging my camera into my Macbook Pro and it has been charging it perfectly well and very quickly also you do also need to get a memory card I bought mine off of eBay and got a Micro SD card which works perfectly well. Overall I have really enjoyed using the Canon Powershot N2 it’s great for those on the go and perfect for Vlogging, well done Canon for creating this cute yet effective camera.

Have you tried the Canon Powershot N2 or considering it? I’d love to know your thoughts.
