L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream

My skin has been a little unpredictable lately, I’ve been having a few blemishes pop up here and there and a lot of redness which is quite frustrating but the worst problem for me is how dry my skin has been and how dull it looks these days. I had been looking for a new every day moisturiser as I was running out of my usual everyday cream and fancied a change, I like to change up my moisturisers from time to time as my skin changes and I came across the L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream*, this is suitable for all skin types and it’s said to help create perfect-looking skin… what more could I ask for!?

As soon as I opened up this cream I was instantly hit by the gorgeous fragrance of the product, a refreshing floral scent which once applied to the skin really makes you feel ready for the day. The scent isn’t too overpowering and doesn’t linger, I can’t stand face products that are too heavily scented and some of my favourite products unfortunately I rarely wear because of this. The perfecting cream however is subtle yet pretty and as I said feels very refreshing on the skin.

I have been applying this morning and evening before makeup application and after I remove my makeup and I’ve noticed a real difference in the appearance of my skin it looks a lot fresher, more luminous and the dry patches have disappeared, I still have a stubborn dry patch on my nose but it’s definitely reduced and I have also found that the cream acts really well as a base before makeup application. With some moisturisers I need to let them sink in and settle before I apply my makeup but with this I find that I can almost instantly go on with foundation application once I have applied this, it doesn’t make my makeup slip around and actually makes it last longer I find!

Overall I have really enjoyed using L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream and I now want to try the rest of the Pivoine Flora collection.┬áHave you ever tried anything from L’Occitane before? This was my first ever L’Occitane product and I’ve been super impressed!
