What I’m Wearing // Make me blush

Happy Friday everyone! I’m so glad it’s almost the weekend, I’ve got a shopping day planned tomorrow with Mark and a little day date so I’m uber excited. Vinny will get to spend the day with his grandparents which I know he will love and we get to have some time to do some uninterrupted Christmas shopping and go for some lunch I can’t wait! Today’s post as you can probably already tell by the title is a ‘What’s on my Face’ post, I’ve kept things pretty simple and actually given a few new products a try so let me tell you my thoughts.

First up let’s talk base, I used my current favourite Too Faced Born this Way foundation in light beige and then I went in with Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer from Beauty Expert which is a new product that I have been trying out and really enjoying. I’ve been using this to highlight under the eyes and to hide any blemishes and it’s been working really well, it really does just melt into the skin and blends out effortlessly which I adore! I then added some highlight to the tops of my cheekbones using the Sleek highlighting palette (link), I really enjoyed using this it’s the first time I’ve tried it and it really helped to create a beautiful glow to the skin without looking too overpowering.

Moving onto the eyes I used a palette that I’ve never tried before and I have to say I was super impressed, I have to admit when it comes to eyeshadow palette I tend to stick to more high end brands and never ever really delve into the budget palette just because I always find higher quality brands to be much longer lasting however this palette by Freedom has really impressed me. This is the Pro 12 Stunning Smokes palette and it features a range of autumnal shades so absolutely perfect for the season, I only used 3 of the shades but I have to say they worked really well and were really easy to work with so thumbs up from me I can’t wait to try them all! Mascara, brows and liner were all usuals for me; Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara, L’Oreal Superfine Liner, and Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade, all staples in my makeup collection.

Finally for bronzer I used an old favourite which is the Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light (link), I usually use the Medium shade in the summer but the light is absolutely perfect for this time of year and as you can see blends in a dream. Lastly for the base I popped on some blusher I used the Perricone MD No Blush Blush and it worked a treat at just adding a subtle flush of colour, I really love this because you can really build the colour up without making it look cakey or clown like.

To finish off the look I used a Max Factor lipstick I actually found in one of my makeup bags and completely forgot about called Rosewood, this is the perfect autumn shade it’s a gorgeous dusky berry pink that’s super easy to wear and ideal for daytime makeup.

What makeup have you discovered or rediscovered lately? Id love to know!
