Hair care has been something I’ve really taken pride in over the last couple of years, I’ve really gotten to know my hair, texture and what works for me so when I heard about the new Kardashian hair care range I was super excited because I love trying out new hair products and finding little gems. The Kardashian Beauty range is the first hair care range launched by the gorgeous Kardashian sisters and it’s a pretty exciting one, I don’t think I know anyone who wouldn’t want to know their hair secrets and how they look so fabulous all the time, I know I was ready to have fabulous glossy locks with a hint of Kardashian glamour thrown in. The range consists of a number of hair care products and tools with luxurious ingredients that really set them apart from other hair care brands out there, the sleek packaging looks amazing and totally ties in with the whole Kardashian brand and I love it.
I have three products to share with you today and I’ve been testing them over the past few weeks so feel I can now tell you what has been working for me and my overall thoughts.
I often wear my hair straight these days, in fact I can’t remember the last time I wore it curly and ever since using this smooth styler my hair has become even easier to get sleek and straight. This is a light cream that is applied on damp hair before blow drying, it combines intense moisture along with a light hold which to be honest at first I was a little nervous about. A lot of pre blow dry products I have used in the past have left me with heavy, greasy hair that basically feels like it needs washing so since finding something that had been working for me it was quite scary to change and try something new but I really had nothing to worry about this blow dry cream is light weight and leaves my hair feeling silky smooth, the texture of it feels great after use and the style lasts really well. Super impressed with this and will continue to use it, the price is also great so nice and affordable to re purchase in the future which I definitely will be doing.
Kardashian Beauty Take 2 Dry Shampoo £9.95
Since wearing my hair straight more I have found the need for dry shampoo to prolong the style and amount of times I have to wash it. I use dry shampoo on day 2/3 hair and in the past have found some products to be way to heavy on my scalp and rather drying, in the summer I had to give my hair a break from dry shampoo just because the build up got way too much and it was starting to irritate my scalp so it was definitely time to try something new. The Kardashian Beauty Take 2 Dry Shampoo has been formulated with rejuvenating Black Seed oil and it promises to eliminate excess oils and impurities that way down hair between washes. When I first tried this dry shampoo I instantly noticed how light weight it was on the hair, it feels almost like a mist rather than a full on spray of chalk onto the scalp like some dry shampoos I’ve tried in the past. I really love the texture of this product, it smells amazing and works really well at just making my hair look and feel fresher.
Kardashian Beauty Take 2 Dry Conditioner £9.95
Onto something quite new and different, a dry conditioner! I think a lot of brands will be bringing these out and I can really see 2016 being the year of the Dry Conditioner although I’m not sure it will work for everyone and to be honest it didn’t really wow me. This is basically a conditioning spray that is meant to add shine and life back into your hair if it’s looking a little dull or feeling dry, I thought this could work really well for me but I didn’t notice a huge difference. Again this product is infused with the same Black Seed Oil like the rest of the products and the same Kardashian scent is there which I love but I just didn’t really feel it was necessary for my hair as it doesn’t really get too dry these days, I think this would work well on those with super dry and over processed hair especially if you like to use heat tools a lot but for me I don’t think it’s a step I will be adding to my hair care routine.
