Fun Toys For A 6 Month Old Baby

6 month old baby boy Renzo is now 5 months old and a very active little thing, he rarely naps these days. I mean he will have a few short naps during the day but for the most part he likes to be entertained… he does sleep through the night so I can’t complain too much. To be honest apart from one toy I really couldn’t remember what entertained Vinny at this age so it took a little research and I have found some great toys and activities for him which he thoroughly enjoys. Today I’m going share them with you.

Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo 6 m+

Ah the Jumperoo! This is the main toy I remember Vinny loving when he was Renzos age and he loved it for quite some time. This is amazing for him because I can just sit him in there and he never gets bored because there are so many features. There is a rotating seat which gives Renzo 360° access to all of the rainforest-themed toys and activities, it also has 3 height adjustments. Some of which Renzo can’t quite reach yet but as he gets bigger he will have more choice which I’m sure he will love. It’s been lovely to see him discover the toys and to see him interact with them, even if it is chewing the butterflies wings!

The Jumperoo is suitable from around 6 months but as you all know Renzo is 5 months and he has been using it ever since he was able enough to hold his head up with ease. I really love that the seat padding is removable and washable, makes things so much easier when you have a baby that likes to dribble on everything! There is also a removable toy tray with a fixed snack tray underneath, I never knew this about Vinnys Jumperoo but I’m so glad I found it on this one. Snack time is going to be so fun for Renzo! This toy gets a huge thumbs up from us!

Infantino Grow with me Activity Gym & Ball Pit 0 m+

Onto our next favourite by Infantino, this is a brand I hadn’t actually heard of before but I have to say since receiving a few of their toys and finding out how fab they are I’m definitely going to make some purchases for Christmas. The Grow with me Activity Gym & Ball Pit is great, I love it’s colourful design and the fact that it’s a 2-in-1 toy. You can use it as a normal playmat or you can pop up the mesh sides to convert it into a fun sensory-stimulating ball pit.

You get 40 colorful balls that store inside turtle’s head (ideal, no mess!). There is also 4 linkable sea pals included; a Peek n’ See Crab Mirror, Link & Crinkle Starfish, Rattling Octopus & Soothing Fish Teether. Renzo has really enjoyed playing with this, we’ve used it both with the sides up and down and I can’t wait for him to be able to sit up properly to really enjoy the ball pit. It looks so fun!

Onto some smaller toys that Renzo has been enjoying. Renzo has recently started to try and hold his toys, he is always so interested to see what everything does and that’s why this Peek a Boo Ball is just perfect. This ready-to-roll ball has a surprising monkey character inside which Renzo was most excited about, he laughs every time the money pops out! He also loves his Chime Elephant which is not only super colourful but it’s also super soft too. There is a soft velcro loop which makes it easy to attach for on-the-go and it easily links to our travel system keeping him entertained whilst I shop!

Did you find buying your baby toys white hard when they were around Renzos age? I’ve found it difficult this time round but so glad we found some little gems that work really well for him.
