st tropez tan

If you’ve been reading my blog from the start then you’ll know I self tan weekly, sometimes more than once a week and I’ve tried MANY tans in the past. I use a number of tans, I’m not particularly fussy but I know what I like and at the moment I really like the new St Tropez Purity Bronzing Water Mousse. Possibly the longest name ever but hey, it is what it says.

This mousse is has a clear formula so if you like to tan in the morning or during the day then this is perfect because you don’t need to wait to wash it off before going out. The tan will gradually develop into a medium bronzed glow and I have to say it’s one of the most natural tans I’ve tried. It’s a medium tan that is gorgeous and golden, don’t be fooled by the formula like I was. I have to say when I first tried this I didn’t really know what to expect, I guess I thought it would be like a gradual tan. I wasn’t expecting much because with the clear formula I just couldn’t see how it was going to give me a noticeable tan but it did.

I call this my weekly tan because this is what I will use during the week when I just want to look naturally bronzed. I get asked all the time about what I’m using when I wear this and I love it. I apply this tan using a soft velvet mitt for an even application and although it’s clear to apply it’s still very easy to use. You can feel where it’s been applied because at first it feels slightly tacky but that feeling doesn’t last. Once you’ve tanned your whole body you can get dressed within minutes.

You may be wondering how you can wear this and avoid the biscuit scent? I know that scent very well and thankfully this bronzing mousse has a tropical fragrance so it’s not scent free but it is much more pleasant. I would highly recommend this tan to everyone, whether you’re an experienced tanner or someone that has never used self tan before. This is very easy to use and again, the colour is beautiful.
